John started his decent into helplessness as a standup comic because he needed another way to express his depression.  He
wrote for Rodney Dangerfield, Johnny Carson, David Letterman, Gabe Kaplan, Billy Crystal, and many others before joining the staffs of Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, Politically Incorrect, D.C. Follies and sitcoms so bad that a prison record would look better on his resume.  He recently wrote and directed "The Last Request, " a film starring T.R.Knight and Danny Aiello, due to be released some time before his next reincarnation.  Though not a religious man, John hopes there's an after life, he needs time to find a real job. Writing is in his genes.  His ancient ancestor was a critic who panned the bible because he said the lead character wasn't believeable.
